Ingredients
- t large bananas
- 1 can (14 ounce) coconut milk
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- - toasted coconut, for garnish
How To Make bananas in coconut milk

Step 1Peel bananas and cut into diagonal pieces, about 2” each.

Step 2In a medium saucepan over high heat, whisk together the Coconut Milk, sugar, salt and nutmeg.

Step 3Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and add bananas.

Step 4Simmer for two minutes, until bananas are just heated through.

Step 5Serve in bowls, with toasted coconut sprinkled on top.
