My Grandfather Barcelo learned a similar recipe from his family while living on the Iberian Coast in the 1800's. This recipe I found online, but it still carries the old Spanish flavors.

Ingredients
- 4 - bananas
- 1 - orange
- 2 tablespoons dark rum
- 50 grams brown sugar
- 30 grams butter
How To Make baked bananas

Step 1Peel and slice the bananas (thick slices) and place in a heat proof serving dish.

Step 2Pour the orange juice from zested and juiced orange and rum over the sliced bananas then sprinkle with the sugar and grated rind of the orange

Step 3Cut the butter into small cubes and place on top of the bananas Cover with foil and place in a preheated oven (180 degrees Celsius) for 15 mins Serve warm with fresh cream or vanilla ice cream
