- 16 slices bacon or pancetta
- 2 medium freestone peaches, halved, pitted -cut each into 8 wedges
- - salt and pepper
- 16 - basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- - maple syrup, for drizzle
- - aged balsamic vinegar, for drizzle
How To Make bacon wrapped peach slices

Step 1Set a peach wedge at edge of each slice of bacon, season with salt and pepper, top with a basil leaf. Roll up bacon to enclose peach slice. Heat oil in skillet -add 1/2 the wrapped peach slices and cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, until bacon is crisp, about 4 minutes.Continue with remaining peach slices. Lightly drizzle with aged balsamic vinegar and Maple syrup. Serve hot or cold, NOTE: Any peach may be used canned or fresh and if you like secure each with tooth picks.
