bacon or pancetta
2 medium
freestone peaches, halved, pitted -cut each into 8 wedges
salt and pepper
basil leaves
1 tsp
olive oil
maple syrup, for drizzle
aged balsamic vinegar, for drizzle

How to Make Bacon Wrapped Peach Slices


  • 1Set a peach wedge at edge of each slice of bacon, season with salt and pepper, top with a basil leaf. Roll up bacon to enclose peach slice.
    Heat oil in skillet -add 1/2 the wrapped peach slices and cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, until bacon is crisp, about 4 minutes.Continue with remaining peach slices.
    Lightly drizzle with aged balsamic vinegar and Maple syrup. Serve hot or cold,
    Any peach may be used canned or fresh and if you like secure each with tooth picks.
