On a cool, crisp autumn day, nothing evokes thoughts of apples, cinnamon and cardamom like this awesome recipe! Autumn, winter, cinnamon and cardamom are a marriage made in heaven. I truly hope that you will enjoy this recipe as much as my family does! This recipe will not disappoint!

Ingredients

  • 4 - pears
  • 6 - apples
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • TOPPING :
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 pound cold butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make apple, pear and cranberry crunch

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray large oval or 0x13 pan with a non stick spray.
  • Step 2
    Mix all the fruit and place it in the baking dish.
  • Step 3
    Combine flour, sugars, salt, oatmeal, cinnamon and butter in bowl of Kitchen Aid and with paddle attachment, mix on low one minute until the mixture crumbles.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle over the fruit and bake for 50 minutes.
