Ingredients
- 2 - granny smith apples, peeled, cored & quartered
- 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup sugar or splenda
- 1 stick butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make apple dumplings
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Simmer together in a small saucepan orange juice, sugar, butter & vanilla until warm. Separate rolls. Roll each apple quarter in a crescent roll and place in 13 x 9 baking dish. Pour orange juice mixture over all of it. Bake for 40 minutes. Enjoy!
-
Step 2Note: It would seem that there is too much liquid when you pour it in the pan prior to baking; trust me, it will be fine!
