My mom made this wonderful apple tart for me and I instantly put it on my list of favorites.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- FILLING
- 3 large granny smith apples, peeled and sliced thin
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 - egg yolks
How To Make apple cream tart

Step 1Combine flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter. Press into spring form pan 1 inch up the sides. Arrange sliced apples over cruse. Combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 2Beat cream and yolks together. Pour over apples and bake until apples are tender and filling is set. Approx. 15-20 min. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
