lemon pie fruit dessert

This is one of my all time recipes from my own cookbook number one. My family and friends love this tart and sweet dessert..Great for buffet table during the holidays....

Ingredients

  • 20 ounces can lemon pie filling
  • 8 ounces container whipped topping,thawed
  • 20 ounces can fruit cocktail, well drained
  • 20 ounces can pineapple chunks, well drained
  • 11 ounces can mandarin oranges sections,drained well
  • 2/3 cup more or less mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup more or less flaked coconut
  • 1 small package slivered almonds,optimal for garnish

How To Make lemon pie fruit dessert

  • Step 1
    Mix pie filling and whipped topping folding to blend.
  • Step 2
    Fold in well drained fruit, marshmallows and coconut. Gently stir.
  • Step 3
    Pour into beautiful glass bowl and chill covered until ready to serve. Sprinkle top with the slivered almonds to serve. Enjoy!
