pure vanilla extract or whiskey
1Cube or tear enough bread to cover the bottom of a "Pammed" 9x13 " pan.
2Beat first 3 ingredients together. Gradually add sugar, mixing thoroughly as you go until sugar is dissolved. Pour over bread until all is saturated.
3Bake 325 degrees 50-60 minutes.
Remove from oven and pour sauce over it.
4Sauce: Put all ingredients except vanilla extract or whiskey into a small sauce pan. Bring just to a boil on low heat. Remove and add vanilla or whiskey. Pour over hot bread mixture.
