Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pecan pieces, toasted and chopped
  • 6 ounces ready to fill chocolate crumb crust
  • 35 - individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter

How To Make turtle pie

  • Step 1
    Sprinkle pecans over crust
  • Step 2
    Caramel Layer: Heat caramels and evaporated milk, stirring often, until caramels melt and the mixture is smooth. Pour over pecans.
  • Step 3
    Chocolate Layer: Heat chocolate chips, heavy cream and butter over low heat until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Pour over Caramel Layer and refrigerate 4 hours, until set.
