    pecan pieces, toasted and chopped
  • 6 oz
    ready to fill chocolate crumb crust
  • 35
    individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped
  • 1/2 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 3 Tbsp

How to Make Turtle Pie


  1. Sprinkle pecans over crust
  2. Caramel Layer: Heat caramels and evaporated milk, stirring often, until caramels melt and the mixture is smooth. Pour over pecans.
  3. Chocolate Layer: Heat chocolate chips, heavy cream and butter over low heat until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Pour over Caramel Layer and refrigerate 4 hours, until set.
