Ingredients
- - pastry two crust pie
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour (heaping)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 7 large apples ( sliced i use johnathan)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make old-fashioned apple pie

Step 1Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Step 2Mix lightly through apples.

Step 3Heap in 9" pastry lined pie plate. Dot with butter.

Step 4Adjust top crust and flute edges; cut vents.( Before putting top crust on take finger and dab some cool water on bottom crust edge this will help seal the top and bottom crust.)

Step 5Sprinkle a little cinnamon and sugar on top crust.

Step 6Bake in hot oven (425) degrees 50- to 60 minutes, or until crust is browed and apples are tender.
