MY Refreshing Key Lime Pie
9inch pie shell
5large egg yolks
114.oz can borden's sweetened condensed milk
8-10 Tbspkey lime juice
1 cheavy whipping cream
3 Tbspconfectioners' sugar
1-2grated key lime zest
How to Make MY Refreshing Key Lime Pie
- In a bowl beat large egg yolks with whisk, mix them well. Slowly stir in borden's sweetened condensed milk. Mixing well stir in lime juice & grated rind. The filling SHOULD be tart, if its NOT tart enough add more juice! Pour filling into lightly browned pie shell. Bake at 350*F 12-15 minutes. Remove from Oven and cool.
- Whip your whipping cream slowly adding the confectioners sugar, whip until still, you can add as much confectioners sugar as needed for your taste, not too much!! Spread over cooled pie and decorate with lemon rind. Serve at room temperature. Make sure you refrigerate IF not eating within 3 hours. Refrigerate left overs, if there is any.....
