This is another of my mom's pie recipes. Very old. Very Good.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    whipped cream
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1
    frozen pie shell
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • ·
    nutmeg

How to Make My Mom's Butter Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix whipping cream,sugar,milk,flour, and vanilla together.
  2. pour into uncooked pie shell.
  3. Pinch off pieces of butter and drop on top of pie
  4. Sprinkle top with lightly with nutmeg
  5. Preheat oven to 450. Bake pie for 10 min.on 450. Turn oven down to 350 and bake for 25 min or until pie is firm. Tooth pick comes out clean.
