This is another of my mom's pie recipes. Very old. Very Good.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 - frozen pie shell
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • - nutmeg

How To Make my mom's butter pie

  • Step 1
    Mix whipping cream,sugar,milk,flour, and vanilla together.
  • Step 2
    pour into uncooked pie shell.
  • Step 3
    Pinch off pieces of butter and drop on top of pie
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle top with lightly with nutmeg
  • Step 5
    Preheat oven to 450. Bake pie for 10 min.on 450. Turn oven down to 350 and bake for 25 min or until pie is firm. Tooth pick comes out clean.
