MOTHER'S MAGIC PIE CRUST (SALLYE)
yields 2 pie crusts
1Sift flour into bowl, cut in shortening with pastry blender or 2 knives.
2Place egg and vinegar in a 2 cup measuring cup. Add cold water to fill to half cup level.
Whisk together until well blended.
3Add egg mixture to flour and mix well until dough forms a ball. ( use my hands to mix)
If too dry, add more cold water a few drops at a time.
This crust is always light and flaky.
