I'm always trying to find a good low-fat dessert. I think this fits the bill. This recipe is very flexible. You can use any combination of fruit and yogurt flavors you like!

Ingredients

  • 1 - pre-made graham cracker pie crust
  • 12 ounces yo plait lowfat banana cream pie yogurt
  • 1 1/2 boxes jello fat-free sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 medium yellow bananas
  • 1/4 t - vanilla extract
  • 1/4 t - banana extract
  • 16 ounces lite whip topping
  • 1 drop - yellow food coloring (optional)

How To Make low-fat banana cream pie

  • Step 1
    Knead 2 unpeeled bananas on counter to soften.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, mix 3 containers of yogurt with bananas.
  • Step 3
    Stir in 2/3 container of whip topping with yogurt and banana. Reserve remaining topping.
  • Step 4
    Stir in pudding mix until mixture thickens
  • Step 5
    Add vanilla and banana extracts and food coloring.
  • Step 6
    Pour filling into pre crust.
  • Step 7
    Top with remaining whip topping.
  • Step 8
    Refrigerator at least 4 hours to 8 hours.
  • Step 9
    Slice third banana to garnish top
  • Step 10
    (Vanilla and banana extracts may be adjusted to taste)
