Ingredients
- - 1 9" unbaked pie shell
- - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- - 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- - 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- - 1/4 cup butter, melted
- - 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
- STREUSEL
- - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- - 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- - 1/4 cup cold butter
- - 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
How To Make easy apple streusel pie

Step 1In medium bowl, combine cornstarch, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in vanilla and butter. Fold in pie filling. Pour into crust.

Step 2Streusel: In medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Add butter and use a fork to blend ingredients until mixture is crumbly. Add nuts. (If using a food processor, combine ingredients and pulse until crumbly). Sprinkle mixture over top of pie.

Step 3Bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until topping is browned. Note: I prefer to place the pie on the bottom rack because I think the pie crust will brown better.
