How to Make Country -Kitchen Custard Pie
1Chill pie shell thoroughly.
2Beat eggs slightly, beat in remaining ingredients except nutmeg.
3Pour into well chilled pie shell with high fluted edges, sprinkle nutmeg on top.
4Bake in hot oven400 degrees until silver knife inserted comes out clean. 25-35 minutes.
5(Baking too long makes a watery custard pie.) Cool on rack for 30 minutes then refrigerate till ready to serve.
