Ingredients
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons quick=cooking tapioca
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 5 cups applel (diced) i used gala
- 2 tablespoons butter
- - pastry for 2 crust pie
How To Make country apple pie

Step 1Combine cream, tapioca, sugar,salt, and spices in a bowl.

Step 2Add thinly sliced apples and toss to mix.

Step 3Spoon half of mixture into pastry lined pie pan.

Step 4Fill around edges and pack well.Dot with butter.

Step 5Add remaining apple mixture. Adjust top crust and flute edges' cut vents. Brush top lightly with milk.

Step 6Bake in hot oven 400 degrees 50-60 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
