When I found out that Sam's Club now carried my favorite nuts the Black Walnuts , I just had to buy them. I have bought 3 bags of the 1 1/2 pound package for $11.48 each. I was ordering them on line at a much higher price. If you know any thing about me at all you know I LOVE A BARGAIN.

Ingredients

1refrigerated pie crust or deep dish frozen pie shell

3 largeeggs room temperature

1 1/2 cblack walnuts,chopped

1 clight corn syrup(spray cup with cooking spray first)

1/2 clight brown sugar

1/3 cbutter melted
-
2 Tbspbarcardi gold rum
-
1 Tbspvanilla bean paste

2 tspblack walnut flavor
-
2 Tbspwondra flour, or cake flour
How to Make Barcardi Gold Black Walnut Pie
- Pour mixture over the nuts in pie plate, nuts will slowly begin to rise to the top. Now carefully place pie on a shallow pan then place in preheated 350 degree F.oven, bake for 30 minutes, and check to see if crust is browning too quickly, if so cover outer edge of crust with aluminum foil, and then bake for an additional 30 to 40 minutes until filling is set.
