This is a quick and easy recipe. It is a go to for picnics and holidays. I made this with red and green cherries for Christmas.

  • 1 large
    cool whip
  • 1 small
    pudding, pistachio
  • 1 can(s)
    crushed pineapple,drained(reserve juice)
  • 1 1/2 c
    mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 c
    marischino cherries, halved
  • 1 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1/2 c
    coconut, flaked

How to Make Watergate Salad


  1. in a large bowl, mix dry pudding with 1/4 cup of reserved pinapple juice. Stir in drained pineapple.
  2. Stir in cool whip and mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Chill for at least 2 hours. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
