1 cevaporated milk
3 Tbsplight corn syrup
3/4 cpumpkin puree
1 tsppumpkin pie spice
1/2 cchopped nuts optional i love to use chopped pistachio
How to Make Pumpkin Fudge
- Grease and 8 x 8 pan and set aside.
- Combine sugar, milk, corn syrup, pumpkin, and salt in a 3 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly and reduce heat to a simmer and heat until 232 degrees on a candy thermometer do not stir. Remove from heat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients and let sit until cooled to lukewarm 110 degrees.
- Beat mixture until it is very thick and lost some of its gloss. Pour into prepared pan and let harden. Cut into squares
