For years I thought that I had lost this recipe along with my over 30 years of recipe collection in my old self made cook book. Until I went to be the Matron of Honor at my oldest daughter's wedding and there it was...in my daughter's kitchen cupboard..and now I have it and all those memories back and want to share this simple and yummy recipe with ya'll

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

3 c
king arthur white whole wheat flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
3 c
irish oats
2 c
brown sugar
2-1/2 c
butter
2+ c
jam, any flavor. (we love blackberry)

How to Make Priscilla's Jam Bars

Step-by-Step

  • 1Stir together dry ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  • 2Spread 1/2 of mixture in bottom of buttered baking pan. Spread jam over that.
  • 3Crumble rest of mixture over the jam.
    Bake @ 375 degrees for about 35 minutes, depending on where you live, altitude ect.
