priscilla's jam bars
For years I thought that I had lost this recipe along with my over 30 years of recipe collection in my old self made cook book. Until I went to be the Matron of Honor at my oldest daughter's wedding and there it was...in my daughter's kitchen cupboard..and now I have it and all those memories back and want to share this simple and yummy recipe with ya'll

Ingredients
- 3 cups king arthur white whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups irish oats
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2-1/2 cup butter
- 2+ cups jam, any flavor. (we love blackberry)
How To Make priscilla's jam bars

Step 1Stir together dry ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly.

Step 2Spread 1/2 of mixture in bottom of buttered baking pan. Spread jam over that.

Step 3Crumble rest of mixture over the jam. Bake @ 375 degrees for about 35 minutes, depending on where you live, altitude ect.
