Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup white syrup
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 - egg
How To Make gingerbread

Step 1heat oven to 325 degrees f. Grease bottom and sides 9- in baking pan with shortening. In a large bowl, beat all ingredients with a electric mixer on low speed 35 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. beat on medium speed 3 minutes. scraping bowl occasionally. pour into pan. bake 50 to 55 minutes. or until a toothpick in center comes out clean. serve warm
