this is my version of gingerbread enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup white syrup
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 - egg

How To Make gingerbread

  • Step 1
    heat oven to 325 degrees f. Grease bottom and sides 9- in baking pan with shortening. In a large bowl, beat all ingredients with a electric mixer on low speed 35 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. beat on medium speed 3 minutes. scraping bowl occasionally. pour into pan. bake 50 to 55 minutes. or until a toothpick in center comes out clean. serve warm
