I found this recipe in a OLD Pennsylvania Grange Cookbook many years ago. My family doesn't like cake like brownies. They gobble this up as fast as I make them. I use Dutch Processed Cocoa.

Ingredients For fudge brownies
butter or margarine, softened
How To Make fudge brownies
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Add baking cocoa and flour gradually, mixing well. Mixture will be thick. Stir in nuts.
Spread in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan.
Bake at 325 degree oven for 35 minutes. Cool on wire rack and cut into squares.
