Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter soften
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- FILLING INGREDIENTS
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup coconut, flaked
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
- 2 teaspoons lemon peel grated
- 1/8 cup fresh lemon juice
- FROSTING INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon peeel grated
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons milk
How To Make frosted lemon bars

Step 1Mix butter, 1/2 brown sugar, 1c flour Press mixture into bottom of ungreaesd baking pan 9×13 Bake @ 350 10 min.

Step 2Beat eggs ,1c brown sugar,vanilla until foamy Beat in 1/4c flour,baking powder,lemon peel,lemon juice ,salt Stir in coconut an almonds Spread over crust Bake 25min Cool completely

Step 3Mix all ingredients for frosting Use enough milk until frosting is smooth and of spreading consistency

Step 4Cut into bars 3×1 in. Yields 3 dozen bars
