Ingredients
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons graound cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
How To Make diy cinnamon chips (sallye)

Step 1Preheat oven to 200º F Line a baking sheet with parchment paper Spray paper with no-stick cooking spray

Step 2Place all ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl, and mix tugether until totally combined and crumbly

Step 3Spread the mixture out on the parchment paper, flattening out with another sheet of parchment paper or the back of a spatula until you have formed an even rectangle about 1/4" thick

Step 4Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until the mixture is hot and melted together. It shouldn't be crisp. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely

Step 5Using a pizza wheel, slice the cooled block into small square chips about 1/4" square. Store in an airtight container in pantry until ready to use. These should keep for a long period of time if kept in airtight container.
