I got this recipe from my friend, who got it from her friend, who got it from HER friend. I'm not sure where it originally came from but it really is the Best Ever. Very quick and very easy with a dreamy taste and texture. This recipe makes enough to frost a sheet cake, so if you're making a 13 x 9 or round cake, reduce measurements by half.

Ingredients

1 cup milk
3 tablespoons flour
1 stick butter
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

How To Make best ever peanut butter frosting

Step 1

On low heat, whisking frequently, cook milk and flour until thick. Remove from heat and COOL.

Step 2

Cream together butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer. Add peanut butter. Add COOL milk mixture and whip.
