I was in charge of bringing dessert to a 'girl's night in' last night and was hungry for pumpkin however did not want to go to the store again. I came up with this. It is very rich,but really good.

    crust of choice
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 16 oz can(s)
  • 1 box
    (sm) vanilla or butterscotch pudding
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg and ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    molasses or brown sugar
  • 8 oz
    cool whip

How to Make Almost No Bake Pumpkin Dessert


  1. Make or purchase a crust of your choice. This could be graham cracker, pie crust, or I used sugar cookie dough. This can be made in a spring form pan or a pie pan. Make as instructed with recipe.
  2. Filling:
    Beat sweetened condensed milk until fluffy. add pudding and spices and mix. Fold in pumpkin and 1/2 the cool whip. Put filling in crust. Top with the remainder of the cool whip.
  3. Refrigerate or freeze for a couple hours before serving.
