  • 2 c
    strawberries, chopped
  • 1/3 c
    agave nectar
  • 1 1/2 c
    whole buttermilk
  • 3 Tbsp
    chambord raspberry liquor
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice (optional)

How to Make Strawberry-Buttermilk Sherbet (sorbet/sherbert)


  1. Combine berries and agave nectar in a blender; process until smooth (about 1 minute). Add buttermilk, process until well blended.
  2. Add liqueur; pulse to mix. Add juice, if desired. Chill mixture 1 hour.
  3. Pour into freezer can of ice cream maker; freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
