I found this recipe in a book I got at a yard sale, I have never heard on one like this one!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 package coconut cream pudding mix (not instant)
  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 - egg
  • 2 packages 8oz. each cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered tang orange drink
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 2 packages cool whip whipped topping

How To Make frozen orange dessert

  • Step 1
    Blend the first 6 ingredients together, to make a crust and spread in a ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350* for 12-15 minutes, Cool.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl; combine the cream cheese, tang, and sugar beating 3 minutes until smooth. Add 3 eggs, one at a time beating well, Fold in 2 regular tubs of cool-whip whipped topping and mandarin oranges,

    Pour over cooled crust, cover with foil and freeze overnight, serve slightly thawed... Enjoy!
