frozen custard
This is my late mother-in-law's custard recipe which she froze into ice cream. As a child my husband had to help turn the crank. I have opted to use an electric ice cream maker. We like this recipe better than ice cream made with just milk because this stays really creamy when frozen. It is a very old recipe that I am sure many of you enjoyed over the years.
