This recipe is so simple and fun for little ones to help you make. My four year old Grandson did all of these by himself with just a little help from me. The really fun part is eating them cause they taste delicious!

How to Make Yummy Cinnamon Crescents

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt butter on the stove in a small pan. For your child's safety and not to get burned, allow this pan to cool before putting at your work station. This will be used to brush onto buns.
Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Separate individual crescent rolls.
On a floured cutting board roll to 1/4 inch thickness. (These will stick when rolling out so make sure you use a floured surface).
  3. Using a pastry brush, brush each piece with melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle Brown sugar and cinnamon mixture over each piece. Add raisins to 4 of them. (Or put raisins on all of them if you prefer).
  5. Roll each bun up starting with wide end. Place on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with PAM or greased with shortening.
  6. Brush each roll with butter. Place in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Enjoy!
  7. Optional: Add chopped pecans or your favorite nuts to each piece before you roll them up.
