A simply easy, delicious peach shortcake recipe.

  • 1/3 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1/2 stick
  • 1 lb
    ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 lb
    ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/4 c
    orange juice
  • 2 tsp
  • 1 can(s)
    refrigerated biscuits
  • ·
    whipped cream for serving

How to Make Sweet peaches shortcake


  1. Bake biscuits as directed, let cool, split biscuits in 1/2. In lg skillet, over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar until bubbly.
  2. Add peaches. Cook, stirring for 5 mins. In lg cup, whisk together cornstarch and orange juice. Stir into peach mix. Cook 2 mins or until thickened.
  3. Place biscuits on plates. Spoon some peach mix onto each biscuit half, top w/ biscuit 1/2. Spoon more peach mix over biscuits, dollop w/ whipped cream.
