This dessert is a treat for the whole family! Also great for anyone following a dairy/gluten/sugar/grain-free diet like myself!

Ingredients
- 4 medium apples, granny smith or fuji
- 3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- - cinnamon, to taste
- - honey, to taste
How To Make stuffed baked apples

Step 1Preheat the oven at 350 degrees. Line a casserole pan with heavy duty aluminum foil.

Step 2Wash and dry the apples, leave the skin on. Core them from the stem down.

Step 3In a small bowl combine chopped walnuts, cinnamon and honey.

Step 4Place the apples in the baking pan. Add the walnut-honey mixture into the cores of the apples (push down with your finger to fill the whole apple).

Step 5Bake for about 45 minutes or until the apples are tender when tested with a fork.

Step 6Serve warm, by itself or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
