strawberry angel food dessert
This was my sister's recipe. She has passed on now and this is one way I'm reminded of her.

Ingredients
- 2 packages strawberry jello, 3-ounce size
- 1 cup boiling water
- 3 cups cool whip, thawed
- 1 can crushed pineapple (large can), drained
- 3 - ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 packages frozen strawberries in syrup
- 1 - angel food cake
- 1-2 cup cool whip (additional)
How To Make strawberry angel food dessert

Step 1Dissolve the Jello in the boiling water.

Step 2Pour the Jello into a bowl and place in the refrigerator. Check the Jello periodically.

Step 3When the Jello STARTS TO THICKEN, remove it from the refrigerator.

Step 4Add the Cool Whip to the Jello.

Step 5Fold in the drained pineapple.

Step 6Break the angel food cake into pieces and place in a 9x13 pan.

Step 7Layer the banana slices on top of the angel food cake.

Step 8Pour the Jello mixture on top of the angel food cake/banana layer.

Step 9Top with more Cool Whip.

Step 10Spoon thawed strawberries in syrup on top of the Cool Whip.

Step 11Cover the pan and place in the refrigerator to set.
