1 cself rising flour
1 1/2 csugar (divided)
1 tspvanilla extract
1 can(s)(21 oz) cherry pie filling
·ice cream or whipped cream for topping (optional)
How to Make Perfect Cherry Cobbler
- In a small mixing bowl mix cherry pie filling with 1/2 cup sugar, or Splenda if desired.
- Preheat oven to 350* F.
Place a stick of butter in a glass 9 x 11 baking pan and put in the oven to melt the butter. Remove from oven as soon as butter is melted, about 5 minutes.
