I had just bought some ripe peaches and decided to make a cobbler. I added blueberries just cause I love them so much and it came out wonderfully!

cornstarch
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 c
sugar
1/2 tsp
ground nutmeg
7 c
peeled, thick sliced peaches
2 c
fresh blueberries
1 Tbsp
lemon juice
2 c
flour
8 Tbsp
sugar
2-1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
salt
1/2 c
cold unsalted butter, cut up
1-1/4 c
milk
1/2 tsp
cinnamon

How to Make Peachy, blueberry cobbler

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oven to 400. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish w/ cooking spray. In bowl combine, 1 cup sugar, cornstarch, 1 tsp cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in peaches and blueberries and lemon juice. Spoon into pan, cook 15 mins. Remove from oven.
  • 2In bowl, whisk together flour, 6 tbsp sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in milk until a soft dough forms.
  • 3Combine in small bowl, 2 tbsp sugar and remaining cinnamon. Drop dough over fruit by tbsp. Sprinkle w/ cinnamon sugar mix. Bake 30 mins, or until top is browned.
