peach jam bars
These are easy and tasty. They are a great way to use up extra jelly and preserves. I am a canner and use my homemade peach preserves for these.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 jar peach jam 12 oz
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make peach jam bars

Step 1preheat oven to 350. grease a 13x9 inch pan. mix dry ingredients into a large bowl. cut butter into dry ingredients until it resembles course crumbs.

Step 2pat 2/3 of mixture into bottom of prepared pan. cover with room temperature jam.

Step 3cover jam with remaining crumb mixture. bake for 40 minutes at 350.

Step 4remove from oven and allow to cool for several minutes but cut into bars while still warm.
