  • 1 package gelatin, raspberry
  • 1/2 cup water
  • - additional berries & bananas

How To Make naturally delicious orange slice jello bowls

  • Step 1
Wash, dry and Cut large Oranges in half. Removing only the orange slices, (from 3 to 4 large oranges) set aside. With a spoon, carefully without breaking orange skins scrape off only the membrane of the orange peel. Place emptied orange halves in a muffin pan, and set aside.
  • Step 2
In sm. Saucepan boil 1 c. Water, then add 1 package of unflavored gelatin (7grams) Into boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Turn heat off Then add 1/2 c. Cold water. Stir.
  • Step 3
If using unflavored gelatin add 1/4 cup of the fresh orange juice, let mixture bloom for 5 minutes. (Although I used Rasberry jello in this recipe with no juice added to flavored jello.) Unflavored gelatin needs the additional juice therefore add 1/2 more cup of the fresh orange juice into the saucepan. Heat over medium heat and stir with a wooden spoon until gelatin completely dissolved, about 3 to 5 minutes. Then, pour the gelatin mixture into the remaining orange juice, stir to combine. Evenly divide the gelatin-orange juice mixture into the prepared orange cups.
  • Step 4
Place orange slices gently into jello orange bowls then place in refrigerator approx. 4 hr. When reaches jello consistency.
  • Step 5
NOTE: (Great with additional berries of your choice are included. As well as with banana slices.)
