- 2 - lbs large ripe nectarines
- 2 - lbs white sugar
- 1/4 - cup water
- 1/8 - teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 - cup brandy
- 11/2 - tablespoons lemon juice
How To Make marmelatha nektarinia - greek - nectarine preserve

Step 1Peel and seed nectarines, and cut into large chunks. Add to a large pot with sugar and water and boil for 30-40 minutes, until the fruit is nice and soft.

Step 2Keep a close watch toward the end and 5 minutes before removing from the heat, stir in vanilla, lemon juice and cognac and mix well.

Step 3Place in sterilized jars and allow to cool completely before sealing.
