Ingredients
- CRUST
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- FILLING
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- TOPPING
- - powdered 10x sugar
How To Make lemon butter bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Combine all crust ingredients in a bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often. Press into bottom of ungreased 8" square baking pan. Bake 15-20 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

Step 2Combine all filling ingredients except powdered sugar in a bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often. Pour filling over hot, partially baked crust. Continue baking 15-20 minutes or until filling is set.

Step 3Sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm and again while cool. Cut into bars to serve.
