This is one of those spur of the moment recipes that I began making over 25 years ago. It's extremely versatile and my kiddo can help me make it. It's great by itself or it can be enjoyed a la mode.

Ingredients

2 lb
assorted frozen fruit (i used 1 lb. sliced strawberries and 1 lb. rhubarb in this one)
1 box
yellow cake mix
1-2 stick
butter, melted (i used 1 1/2)

How to Make Easy Peasy Fruit Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2Place frozen fruit in the bottom of a 9X13 cake pan.
  • 3Sprinkle dry cake mix all over the top of the fruit.
  • 4Evenly distribute the melted butter on top of the cake mix.
  • 5Bake at 350 until brown (approx. 55 minutes).
