This is one of those spur of the moment recipes that I began making over 25 years ago. It's extremely versatile and my kiddo can help me make it. It's great by itself or it can be enjoyed a la mode.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    assorted frozen fruit (i used 1 lb. sliced strawberries and 1 lb. rhubarb in this one)
  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1-2 stick
    butter, melted (i used 1 1/2)

How to Make Easy Peasy Fruit Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place frozen fruit in the bottom of a 9X13 cake pan.
  3. Sprinkle dry cake mix all over the top of the fruit.
  4. Evenly distribute the melted butter on top of the cake mix.
  5. Bake at 350 until brown (approx. 55 minutes).
