This is one of those spur of the moment recipes that I began making over 25 years ago. It's extremely versatile and my kiddo can help me make it. It's great by itself or it can be enjoyed a la mode.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds assorted frozen fruit (i used 1 lb. sliced strawberries and 1 lb. rhubarb in this one)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1-2 stick butter, melted (i used 1 1/2)

How To Make easy peasy fruit cobbler

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Place frozen fruit in the bottom of a 9X13 cake pan.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle dry cake mix all over the top of the fruit.
  • Step 4
    Evenly distribute the melted butter on top of the cake mix.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 350 until brown (approx. 55 minutes).
