Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh apples
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- 1 tablespoon cold water
- 1 1/2 cups crushed lady finger cookies
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 package phyllo dough sheets
How To Make apple turnovers

Step 1slice apples and put in pan to saute, add cranberries, cinnamon and brown sugar. saute for about 10 minutes.

Step 2meanwhile dissolve cornstarch in cold water, then add to apple mixture, cook until thickened.

Step 3peel apart phyllo dough into separate sheets. using one at a time brush with oil, sprinkle crushed cookies then add another sheet, do this for three sheets.

Step 4make 4 even slice long ways on sheets, place 2 tablespoons apple mix onto one corner of dough, roll up into triangles, brush with oil, refrigerate until you have all of the sheets done.

Step 5bake at 350 for twenty minutes
