This is something that I like to make every time we go camping. Not only does it fulfill cravings for cookies, but it provides you with a boost of energy which is perfect for camping or hiking.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch salt
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 - eggs
- 3/4 cup peanut pieces
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup m & ms
- 3/4 cup shredded coconut
How To Make trail mix cookies

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2Heat butter in microwave for 3-5 minutes, or until it browns.

Step 3In a bowl, mix oats, all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Step 4In another bowl, cream the browned butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the eggs, & the vanilla extract.

Step 5Slowly add in the flour mixture and stir until combined. Add the m&m's, coconut, peanuts, and raisins. Be sure to evenly incorporate everything or you'll have some cookies without all of the components.

Step 6Roll cookie dough into a ball, place on cookie sheet, and flatten with your fingertips.

Step 7Bake 11-14 minutes or until they're lightly golden.
