This is my husband Tim's favorite cookie recipe.He make every year at Christmas time. The kids love love love them.

Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 - eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour. we do 2 cups
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups oatmeal, uncooked
12 ounces chocolate chips and butter scotch chips

How To Make tim's chocolate chip, butter scotch, oatmeal cookies

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 Beat together butter & sugars until creamy. Add eggs & vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, salt; mix well. Stir in oats & chips; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack or wax paper. makes about 48 cookies
