Ingredients
- - 1 stick butter
- - 3 ounce cream cheese
- - 1 cup all-purpose flour
- - 1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind
- - 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- - few drops of lemon juice
- - 1 egg, beaten
- - 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- - 1 tablespoon butter
- - 1 teaspoon vanilla
- - chopped pecans
How To Make tassies

Step 1Blend softened stick of butter and cream cheese.

Step 2Add flour, orange rind, lemon rind and few drops of lemon juice.

Step 3Make pastry into 36 little round balls and put one of each in a ungreased miniature muffin tin. With your thumb spread each around the tin to form a cup.

Step 4Mix egg, brown sugar, 1 Tablespoon butter and vanilla. Spoon into each pastry cup. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.

Step 5Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until just done.
