spicy ginger molasses cookies
I wanted a new molasses cookie, one loaded with ginger! This is what I came up with. It has some Ginger Kick!!!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups butter
- 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 5 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons all spice
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon course ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups crystalized ginger, chopped fine
- - raw sugar, for rolling
How To Make spicy ginger molasses cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Mix together butter, sugars, egg and molasses until creamy. Sift together dry ingredients and blend into creamy mixture, stir in crystallized ginger. Roll into 1 1/2" balls, roll in raw sugar, flatten slightly with bottom of a glass or palm of your hand. I like to sprinkle a little extra raw sugar onto center of cookie after flattening, before baking. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
