Soft and Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies
2 call purpose flour
1/2 tspbaking soda
1 1/4 cdark brown sugar (packed)
1 1/4 csugar
1 cbutter, softened
1 ccreamy peanut butter
2 tspvanilla extract
How to Make Soft and Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies
- Heat oven to 300 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the sugars together, add the butter and mix until all form a grainy paste. Add the eggs, peanut butter and the vanilla. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Add the dry ingredients and mix on low speed just until fully combined. Do not over mix.
- Drop a rounded tablespoonful of the cookie dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Slightly crisscross flatten the cookies with a fork that has been dipped in water. Bake for about 18-22 minutes just until the edges begin to turn a golden brown. Remove from oven and cool.
