Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

How To Make scottish shortbread

  • Step 1
    Measure all ingredients into a bowl and mix well, scraping bowl with a rubber spatula.
  • Step 2
    Pat dough into a 9x9 pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Cut when warm.
