These are melt in your mouth cookies. I received this recipe from friend here in South Texas. ovens vary, so watch cooking time and cook until browned.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 - egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon liquer (i use triple sec)
  • 2 cups flour
  • ROLLING MIXTURE
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon

How To Make polvorones (mexican shotrbreads)

  • Step 1
    Cream butter and sugar, add egg and liquer; mix. Add flour. Make into small balls with your hands and roll in rolling mixture.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 325 for 25 minutes.
