Yes I have been dieting before holiday's. Im on low carb, thats how I came up with these. I eat alot of protien so I have bacon precooked. So I added to my have to make sandies, christmas balls, mexican wedding cakes (I know everybody calls different)This is my easy recipe that I always make just with a little twist. Enjoy! I only got a bite, my Son and friend do the testing! LOL Maybe Il splurge a little on Christmas!

Ingredients

  • 2 stick
    butter
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    water
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 3/4 c
    chopped toasted pecans
  • 1/4 c
    chopped cooked bacon

How to Make Pecan Bacon Sandies

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream butter and sugar, add water and vanilla and mix well. Mix in the flour, pecans and bacon. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour.

    Shape into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet. bake at 325 degree oven for 20 min. Let cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.
