Yes I have been dieting before holiday's. Im on low carb, thats how I came up with these. I eat alot of protien so I have bacon precooked. So I added to my have to make sandies, christmas balls, mexican wedding cakes (I know everybody calls different)This is my easy recipe that I always make just with a little twist. Enjoy! I only got a bite, my Son and friend do the testing! LOL Maybe Il splurge a little on Christmas!

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup chopped toasted pecans
  • 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon

How To Make pecan bacon sandies

  • Step 1
    Cream butter and sugar, add water and vanilla and mix well. Mix in the flour, pecans and bacon. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour. Shape into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet. bake at 325 degree oven for 20 min. Let cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.
